After 21 years of development, Focus Media has built China’s largest elevator media network.
Focus Media’s main business is developing and operating elevator advertising systems in urban areas, apartments, office buildings, cinemas… Focus Media’s advertising screens appear in many locations associated with consumers’ daily lives, including workplaces, homes, entertainment and shopping areas.
According to the company’s Financial Report, Focus Media’s revenue in 2023 is 1.6 billion USD, an increase of 26.3% compared to 2022. Net profit is more than 666 million USD, an increase of 73% compared to 2022.
As of March 31, 2024, Focus Media’s media system covers more than 280 cities in China, Hong Kong SAR and 95 major cities in Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, India and Japan.

(1) Elevator advertising screens (DF and LCD) reached 1,051,000 units (including about 154,000 units of overseas subsidiaries), covering 99 major cities in China, Hong Kong SAR and 95 major cities in Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, India and Japan.
(2) Electronic poster screens reached about 1,572,000 devices (including devices of overseas subsidiaries with about 18,000 screens), covering 69 major cities in China, Hong Kong SAR and major cities in Malaysia and India.
(3) Focus Media has cooperated with 1,831 cinemas with about 13,000 cinema complexes, covering 271 cities in China.
In addition to the elevator advertising system covering the above areas, Focus Media has licensed about 65,000 advertising devices with coverage in 125 cities. Investment companies with shares in Focus Media also own about 390,000 electronic poster screens, covering 70 cities.

According to Mr. Jason Jiang – Founder and Chairman of Focus Media, Focus Media’s goal in 2024 in Vietnam is to develop 20,000 advertising devices, and after 3-5 years will increase to 60,000 devices. The representative of Focus Media also committed that the devices used in Vietnam will not integrate cameras and ensure compliance with current advertising regulations of the Vietnamese government.
